Hello,

It appears that every time I try to upload music, regardless of my current location on the site, I am not allowed to select the media type of the uploaded contents and everything falls into the community texts section.

If possible, please change this to the Community Audio section. If not possible, please delete it and I'll ask my netlabel manager to create a page for his netlabel.

Sorry to have bothered you guys again but I'm finding the upload process is a bit arcane. I love this site and really do hope for it's success.

Cheers

i've moved it. the short explanation is that the uploader you are using (we have several kinds) is the http uploader which we are moving away from. it is not as good at the new uploader in determining the intended mediatype when there are various mediatype file formats uploaded. in addition to music files you uploaded image files. the uploader saw the image first and made it a text item.

instead please use the uploader at archive.org/upload. it does not work with Internet Explorer so ideally you should use either chrome, firefox or safari.
